Saturday August 15: Alpha Essentials Training Event
This training is for church teams who are new to Alpha, and anyone on your team who has never
attended a Training. They will learn all the ins and outs of running Alpha.
PLACE: First Presbyterian Church, Hollywood, 1760 N. Gower St., Hollywood 90028.

ALPHA JOINT TRAINING EVENT AUGUST 15 – Bring your Team!
On Saturday August 15th, from 8:30-12 noon, there will be joint training for Fall ALPHA leaders
and Helpers for the San Diego area, at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, located at 6556 Park
Ridge Blvd., San Diego 92120. (Thomas Bros. Map Book pg 1250 E-6). Pastor Sean Kelly from
Penasquitos Lutheran Church will lead the training session. Continental breakfast will served.
Bring your ALPHA Leader's Manual.

ALPHA NATIONAL CONFERENCE OCT. 20-21, ORLANDO, FLORIDA
I attended the National Alpha Conference in Chicago last year and it was very valuable. This year’
s National Conference in Orlando is going to be even better. Make plans now to come and bring
your team.
Come and see Nicky and all the “Alpha Brits”. You’ll also meet special guest Bear Grylls, star of
Man Vs. Wild on the Discovery Channel.
