Track 1 :ESOL/MULTI-CULTURAL ALPHA
How close is the world to your church? Chances are closer than you think!
Most major cities now have 10’s of languages spoken and many more first generation foreign born people. The
mission field of yesterday may be your community today. The question for your church is, “how will we reach
them for Christ?”
The Alpha course is now available tailored for people who speak English, but not as their first language. Alpha
for ESOL is a practical introduction to the Christian faith, tailored to the pace, vocabulary and sensitive to the
cultural background of people from around the world. The course is designed to be run by anyone, regardless of
any former language training.
Track 1 will provide training sessions where you can come find out the basics of the Alpha for ESOL and Multi-
Cultural Alpha, and see if it’s right for your church and community. See an Alpha for ESOL session presented
live, hear about the global growth of this new alpha course, and talk to others just like you that want to reach out
to their communities.
Track 2: CONVENTIONAL ALPHA TRAINING
Reach the other demographic that is emerging in our culture - The unchurched, de-church, and never-churched –
native English-speakers we rub shoulders with every day.

- Will equip individuals and church teams to run the traditional Alpha Course
- Will provide existing Alpha churches an opportunity to train new team members
- Will provide Alpha churches with a valuable opportunity to refresh their teams
- Will offer revised Alpha Sessions
- Will offer a break-out training for Alpha in the Workplace and Alpha for the Military
